What is the experience of the professional handling my baby?

With over 10 years of career and more than 100 newborns photographed, my journey is based on prioritizing safety above any beautiful photo. I have participated in renowned courses with nurses and pediatricians who provided the foundation of my knowledge about newborn safety and care. The baby's comfort will always come first.

Where will the session take place?

Sessions are held in my fully-equipped studio in my home, specifically designed to provide comfort for both babies and expectant mothers.

What is the ideal age for photography?

We recommend conducting the newborn session within the first three weeks of life when the baby sleeps deeply and is more flexible for posing. However, we can accommodate babies up to 6 weeks old in special cases, such as prematurity. It’s important to note that, even in premature babies, increased muscle tone may reduce flexibility and limit certain poses after three weeks.

When should I schedule the newborn session?

It is recommended to schedule the session during pregnancy, preferably in the second trimester. After the baby is born, we will confirm the exact date of the session. At this moment, the exact date isn’t the most important. The reservation is meant to ensure we have a spot for you when your baby is born, as booking last minute may result in no immediate availability. I suggest choosing the package that best fits your needs and selecting a date close to your due date, about a week after. Once the baby is born, just let us know, and if necessary, we can adjust the date to earlier or later than originally scheduled.

How can I prepare for the session?

After booking, you will receive a guide with all the necessary information to better prepare for the session, ensuring no doubts remain.

What is the delivery time and format of the images?

Files will be delivered in high resolution, in JPG format, without a logo, in an online gallery. Up to 10 days after the session, you will receive a gallery with edited and watermarked images to choose from. You will have 2 weeks to choose the photos. Within 48 hours after the selection, you will receive the invoice for the session balance. The fully edited images will be delivered within 2 weeks after the final payment of the invoice. If you purchase albums or frames, the delivery time varies according to the supplier.

How will the payments be made?

At the time of booking, you will pay 50% of the session value to guarantee the date on the calendar. The remaining balance is due the day of the newborn session.

Can I include siblings and parents in the newborn photos?

Yes, you have two options. The first is to choose the Luxe package, which already includes photos of the baby's parents and siblings. The other option is to book the Wrapped or Petit package and add family photos for an additional $50 per person. We recommend that only parents and siblings be present in the studio, as the presence of additional people may disrupt the session.
